The Institute of Hotel Management, Raipur, actively participates in the Skill Development Programme initiated by the Ministry of Tourism, with a primary focus on enhancing employability. Our contribution to this endeavor includes hosting the Hunar Se Rozgar Programme, which commenced on June 19, 2009.

Under this program, no application or course fee is levied on the applicants. Trainees achieving an 80% attendance record become eligible for a stipend of Rs. 1,500/- for courses such as Food & Beverage Service Steward, Room Attendant, and Front Office Associate. Similarly, stipends of Rs. 2,000/- are provided for the Multi Cuisine Cook and Craft Baker courses.

To successfully complete the program, students are required to undergo an end-of-course test. Those who pass the test receive a Certificate from the Ministry of Tourism, acknowledging their successful participation and skill acquisition. This initiative aligns with our commitment to nurturing skilled professionals in the field of hospitality.
